Seville Consulting, LLC specializes in green building consulting, including single and multifamily building certification, training, energy audits, and program management. The firm was founded in 2005.
Carl Seville owned and operated SawHorse, Inc, the premier residential renovation firm in Atlanta, Georgia for over 25 years before creating his current firm. While at SawHorse, he was instrumental in the development of the EarthCraft House Renovation program, one of the first green certification programs for existing buildings, and personally supervised the pilot projects for that program. He is a BPI certified Building Analyst, HERS Rater, USGBC Green Rater, EarthCraft House and Green Communities Technical Advisor, NAHB Green Verifier, and holds the LEED AP Homes designation. He was a co-author of the USGBC/ASID ReGreen guidelines and the NAHB Certified Green Professional curriculum. He is a contributing editor to GreenBuildingAdvisor.com and writes for the Enterprise Green Communities blog on that website.
Carl is a co-author of the first textbook on residential green building: Green Building: Principles and Practices in Residential Construction.
