2012 Annual Meeting + Preservation Honor Awards + Photography Exhibit

On January 26, 2012, over 125 members, guests and honorees gathered for the 2012 Annual Meeting + Preservation Honor Awards program at the Thomasville Center for the Arts.  The annual meeting has not been held at the Center in over a decade and from all reports, it was nice to be back.  Below, you will find a gallery of pictures from the event.  To see the Preservation Honor Award Winners, click here.

The meeting was followed by the Perspectives in Preservation photography exhibit, which is the culmination of our Photographer in Residence program, which encourages local photographers to document the local architecture and environment that inspires them. They also documented people in the community who participate on many levels in local historic preservation activities.  The featured photographers are Jason Kantner, Carrie Viohl and Katherine Marentes. The photography exhibit will continue at the Center through March 9, after which it will travel throughout the area in other shows.  To learn more about the photo exhibit, click here.
