Thomasville Landmarks’ Annual Community Preservation Program, renamed Operation C.A.R.E. for Community Assisting Restoration Efforts, is dedicated to assisting economically and physically disadvantaged homeowners with restoration of their homes. The goal is eliminate unsafe conditions while preserving homes that contribute to the historic legacy of our community.

The Thomasville Area Board of Realtors gave up their Saturday morning recently to show that they C.A.R.E. about historic affordable housing. In particular, 15 people showed up to put the finishing touches on 1004 Lester Street, Landmarks' 2010 Operation C.A.R.E. project house.
